After spending nearly 20 years leading the marketing function at local, regional, super-regional and national firms, Katie Tolin started CPA Growth Guides in 2015. A few years later, she helped found Rally Rounds. She is dedicated to helping advance the marketing function and the role of markers within accounting firms.
As a practice growth consultant, Katie focuses on marketing, business development support and product management. She helps firms connect the dots between strategy and action to ensure they are taking the right steps to profitable growth. Using data, she helps set growth strategies built around specialization, and then she coaches firm leaders on how to build a niche. She helps firms bring new offerings to market and guides them through the packaging and pricing process. She had also served as an outsourced CMO to a number of firms.
Highly recognized in the accounting space, Katie is a former Accounting Marketer of the Year and inductee into the Accounting Marketing Hall of Fame. A former board president of (and current volunteer for) the Association of Accounting Marketing, she has twice been named to the Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting list, was a previous Most Powerful Women in Accounting, and has won more than a dozen Marketing Achievement Awards.
